Alright so apart from the turkey vulture problem my subdivision has we also have a coyote problem. We don’t want to harm these animals but they have killed one of my friends dogs and we don’t know what to do. Please help. Thank You. Also please don’t make your solution about killing or harming. Unless there is no other way we can catch them.

Me and a friend are going to be heading to Colorado in two weeks. We both really enjoy coyote hunting, but in my area alot of people run dogs and the coyotes are scared of everything. We both respect the outdoors and have many years of hunting experience and would be more than happy to cure any coyote problems that anyone may have. (or give it my best shot anyway).

I want a 12 g shotgun for under 0. This gun will be for mostly hunting but I might want to mess around and shoot some bottles too. What gun do you guys recommend and what are some good animals to hunt with a shotgun? Also whats the hunting season right now? Plus whats up with slug shot shotguns, they seem really accurate, whats the bad news about them?

I have a male jack rusell who like to hunt. I took him over to my friends house and ran him down the levy. He got a scent and ran half way into the hole!!! I got so scared that a groundhog would attack him or even worse hurt him! I had to restrain him and it was almost impossible. Would he have ran in to the hole and got stuck?Another question is my friend said that groundhogs will have a heart attack and die from being scared from the dog has anyone else heard of such a thing?

i've been hunting groundhogs with a .22 for the last month and ive noticed that any groundhog that is 200+ yards away from me is gone once they look my way. this is frusterating because of my .22's limited range. i have a .30/06 with a decent scope on it but im preaty sure that it is way overpowerd for groundhogs.

so should i start looking for another gun or should i give the 06 a shot?

I hunted groundhog with 25.06 savage but it destroyed them and its kinda a waste of money since their expensive.

I know 17hmrs are accurate but they still only have a couple lbs of energy. Is this enough to takedown coyotes and groundhogs? It may have a very high velocity but the bullet is so small….Same goes for the .22 mag how is it?

I heard someone on one of the news channels say that legal hunting of wild game is the same
as illigeal dog fighting.

We adopted our "Lexus" from an animal shelter and she has the look of a coyote and is very shy and timid. If there is a way to tell I would like to know.

The wife and I get up at 3am on Thanksgiving and head to the homeless Mission where we cook, serve and clean until late afternoon. We have been doing this for five years and been successful in recruiting a number of family and friends to join us. I drop off meat when I get it to the kitchen manager there, who makes a mean Texas Chili Stew.

Like JD said, there is nothing in this life more rewarding than unselfishly helping others, particularly the hungry, poor and homeless. It keeps you humble and causes you to remember and be thankful for the many blessings we enjoy.

i just moved from California to Illinois and there are alot of coyotes here…i was walking to my bus stop and -couple hunndred yeards…im only in 6th grade so what happens if i ever get into a face 2 face confrentation with one of these animals…what should I do.

where i am going to hunt groundhog they are about 10-15 lbs maybye a good 20 pounder here and there. i'm using 000 12 gauge buckshot for close range but out of these rifle cals' which one for 100 yds or more. .17 M2, .270 ( 90 grains) or 9mm? these are really important.
