Hello. Can someone please explain why fox hunting is enjoyable? I just do not get it.

Please note; while I think this IS one awesome firearm, I do not suggest it for hunting. And as others will tell you machineguns require special tax stamp licensing.
But I think it would be just the thing for law enforcement use and for those darn coyotes killing your calves or chickens. A ranchers best friend! :p

I agree that; it would be worthless at long range
and that its comparison to a shotgun is ridiculous.
I worked as a ranch hand years ago and had to shoot lots of coyotes. Trying to shoot several before they scattered was difficult even with a semi-auto shotgun. The 180 would have been nice for that at close range. I used the Ruger mini14 for ranch work and now use a 25-06 for varmint hunting.
Yep the 180 would be a fun thing to play with that’s why I put this question up.

R W, I ask my questions in hunting and in outdoor rec. I ask my questions about these air rifles because they are capable of successfully taking out small to medium size game. With that being said, stop answering my questions like a complete JACKA$$.

We shot primarily Fulton Arms and Bushmaster .223, a Remington 40x .22 BR, S&W .17 HMR and a couple of the most explosive shots were with a .300 Win Mag loaded with a 50gr Vmax sabot round@4700+ fps. The .50BMG did not see much action on this trip, maybe we will have better luck later in the season. Please see DRTYFN’s vids for more footage of some our earlier escapades. Much of this footage was shot with a “rifle cam” mount attached to my AR.

i want to do some varmint hunting, i know it will blow them up, but what is the lowset grain you can get? i have 147 grain, is that the lowest?

I just moved to Louisiana and I am still trying to figure out all the rules and regulations. From what I am seeing, I think I am "Legally" able to hunt over corn. Is this true? If someone can find it in writing that would be awsome too! Thank you!!!

It seems most people that bitch the most have never shot one… A lot of people enjoy competitive shooting this style gun , plus they are great for varmint hunting, which is what I use mine for. It keeps the coyotes out of the chickens.

I was watching countryfile the other day (couple of weeks ago) it was on fox hunting talking about how it was banned and then they said foxes are still killed but apparently its humane now if this is true can anyone give me any proof and the programme was not an old programme it was a recent programme made in 2009

from predators and just in case survival if you go deep into the wilderness? i live in california and i just got a mossberg shotgun i would like to take it with me to hiking in the mountains is this legal never will be used for hunting or target practice just survival

I live in northern Wisconsin 20 miles from Lake Superior and I have allready taken hunters safety and been hunting for five years but I want to try trapping this fall. I live right by a ton of lakes and there are beaver, muskrat, foxes, racoons, coyotes etc.
I have also looked at traps and haven’t found many cheap ones so any information about traps and trapping would be just great!!!!!!!!!

A couple of friends from New Jersey are coming up to do some hiking/camping up here in the Hudson Valley area, and I was thinking of doing some small/medium game hunting while out there. I have my license but is there a limit to how many people I can be with who are unlicensed? Can they be armed with something that is not a firearm or bow such as a pellet gun? Can they hunt non protected fur bearing varmint or "open hunting" species such as red squirrels, English sparrows, or wood chucks that are open season all year, night and day? I know for sure I can be with at least one unlicensed "guest" who is not carrying a firearm, I just need a follow through. Thanks!
